Big eater. Hospitality obsessor. Startup fanatic. Chronic Pinterest scroller.
Hi, I'm Kate — just a girl who loves being a part of teams building cool stuff.
I've spent the past 3+ years at the intersection of food and tech, helping restaurants get tools that actually work for them and helping diners eat better. Having worked in restaurants since I was 16, this was the perfect way to blend the hospitality industry with my tech experiences. And the shoe fits!
When I'm not hunting for a new favorite bite, I'm probably deep in a founder podcast, pinning my fifth Pinterest board of the week, scrolling on The Real Real, or convincing my friends to try the Ninja Park in Greenpoint (no takers yet. but we'll get there.). I was born in Boston, went to USC, lived in Sydney for a bit, and eventually landed in NYC.
I'm always looking for new friends, mentors, mentees, and generally excellent people to add to my life. If that sounds like you, hit my line.
A brief history of showing up and figuring it out.
...plus some PR internships that taught me I didn't want to go into PR, and a yoga instructor certification (it was a covid thing).
Things I'm actually good at, per me and the people who've worked with me.
Whether it's a partner, a founder, or a new hire — people leave conversations with me feeling like I actually gave a damn.
Pattern recognition across a portfolio of 150 accounts means I catch problems early, flag them clearly, and come with a solution already half-built.
Sales, ops, product, marketing — I've sat at all those tables and spoken all those languages. I'm most useful exactly where visibility is low and future tracks are fuzzy.
I've built analytics tools for my team because the backlog wasn't moving fast enough. If something needs to exist, I'll figure out how to make it exist — thanks to my (somewhat) trustworthy friends at Anthropic.
"Hard to quantify. Easy to notice when she's missing." — Kate's former boss.
Unsolicited opinions from people who've had to work with me.
"I don't know how she does it, but somehow every partner thinks they're her favorite."
— a colleague
"She will absolutely call you out, but you'll thank her for it later."
— a friend
"Genuinely the only person I know who reads the terms and conditions."
— someone who clearly doesn't
